And Texas! Don't forget Texas. Trouble is, wherever you go...there is hatred, prejudice, and ignorance....thank God, it is often balanced by the polar opposites.

Your insisting that any subject boils down to these attitudes is another example of your one-track mind.
We are discussing the legality and likelihood of illegals receiving a proposed "stimulus" check. Where do hatred, prejudice, and ignorance come into play here?

It comes from people making asinine statements like " Darn the illegals and all y'all that support them, if your so-called brown skin people wasn't such cowards they would have stay home and help rule their country instead of sneaking in here like the crooks they are,,, and from the way you talk about the "ILLEGALS", I bet you are kin to them or your making money off them."

But you wouldn't consider that odd, would you? It's Aaron, and his "one-track mind" that is out of place here.
Well, if you weren't so "hellbent" on attacking me, you might have caught the fact that I was agreeing with and "Hi-fiving" Incognito's sentiments...as a few stalwarts ( and I"m not meaning that in a "good way") from Conflicting Views have infiltrated here....and are, evidently, up to their old, no good tricks.
Reading is fundamental.....the following is what I was responding to.

Excuse me for noticing, but I have already indicated here a couple of times that we are NOT talking about ILLEGAL aliens because they have a green cards or equivalent cards and pay taxes.

I could probably say that another one hundred times and specific people here have "one track minds" and will keep calling them "illegal aliens" not because it is accurate but because the inaccurate term will win the debate by definition.

That is what you call a strawman tactic.

Why would I go to Mexico? Back to Mexico? I've never been, though I do want to plan a trip down to the Yucatan Peninsula to visit the ruins at Tulum and Chichen Itza. So that bus ticket might just come in handy. Paying half for round trip would help out a lot.

If you don't mind me asking, where in Alabama do you live? Are you from Alabama originally? I was born in Georgia and my family is actually from New York, so I suppose I shouldn't give Alabama too much ****, but I've lived here since I was 2, so maybe I should.
