He inpired the Sandinistas (and gave them their name) and evaded the US military in an undeclared war for over 6 years before being assassinated by Somoza who later became Nicaraguan dictator.

He was a militant that took power and became a dictator. The people of Cuba suffered under his rule, yet you turn the blind eye to that fact and praise him? No, he was not a guerilla...he was an opportunist. I wonder how many people you actually know that were in Cuba during his dictatorship. Not many, I would imagine.

You need to pay attention here. Read the thread title. "Greatest Guerilla Leaders of All time?". Fidel was not a guerilla leader, he was a DICTATOR. That point has been made.
