Is Hugo a communist? I don't think so, he's socialist isn't he?

U.S. posters often seem to have an absolute horror of communism. As Europeans, we don't really panic about that. Most people here are socialist, the posters here are not unusual in that.

It's almost like a paranoia for some posters though...witch-hunt?

Just different cultures.

most are a mix, leaning a little more to cap the soc, sameway here in denmark, though it has een changing since last election were the soc parties got a hll of alot more votes the normal

You people discern between 'communist' and 'socialist'? Same dang thang to me. Why don't I just call everyone besides the Individualists 'collectivists' and leave it at that?

Incidentally, we're tired of paying for Europe's continued defense. Europe is all grown up now and needs to move out of the basement. But that's another thread.

Miriya: Lucky Denmark, in England there are very few socialists, most people who say they are a mix are essentially capitalist. A far as I'm concerned if the rich keep their money and have power because of it, and people are living in poverty whilst some are rich, and money is king that's capitalism.
