Default Migration of Jews from Arab lands

Professor Haim Hillel Ben-Sasson of Hebrew University, in his book “A History of the Jewish People” wrote – “The rapid deterioration of the great Ottomon Empire constituted a gloomy chapter in the history of the Jews in the East. They lost most of their prestigious status……”

When the last Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid refused Theodor Herzl’s plea to allow European Jews to settle in Ottomon Wilat (province) of Palestine – the Zionist terrorist organization started implementing this through forced immigration of Jews from Arab lands to occupied Palestine. They planted bombs in Synagogues, Jew-owned stores and homes and assassination of government officials to create Muslim-Christian hatred toward local Jewish minorities and fear among the local Jews.

After the creation of Zionist State in 1948 - came the immigration of the Jews from Arab lands. By the end of 1950, some 45,000 Yemenite Jews had arrived - gathered from their places of residence to Aden whence they were flown to Israel. In 1950-1, some 122,000 (out of a total of 130,000) Iraqi Jews immigrated. Several of the more ancient communities were almost emptied - 30,000 (out of 35,000) immigrated from Libya.

A new wave of immigration arrived in the years 1955-7, consisting of more than 160,000 people including some 70,000 Jews from Morocco and 15,000 from Tunisia.

Do you have any evidence to support this claim? I am not familiar with it.

While this is true, it is not the whole story. It does not tell about how Egypt expelled its Jewish population and confiscated their homes, nor does it tell of the laws that other countries passed in order to prevent Jews from leaving, or of anti-Jewish demonstrations held in other countries by the local Arab population over the formation of Israel.
