The FOIA is not part of the Constitution.

Some of the worst of all offenders for greenhouse gas emissions are Bush billionaire supporters.
I can't disagree with that.

I posted an article a couple of years ago about a plant that was one of the worst of all violators of emission standards making donations to the 2000 and 2004 Bush campaigns and by no random accident has had no government pressure to change.
Of course not. Lobbyists and special interests run the executive and legislative branches of the federal government.

The bottom line is Bush is perhaps the most total corporate prostitute president in US History. That problem is magnified by a total arrogance of power, as if there are no checks and balances.
Perhaps he is. However, the nature of the checks and balances set forth in the Constitution is somewhat limited.

There is the freedom of information act, and the "Presidential Transparency" legislation. And his claim for executive privilege to hide Rove partisan use of the Justice Department is total BS. At best, this applies only to situations where the president is involved directly himself.
But what does the CONSTITUTION say?

Quote:
It is called stone walling. The stone walls need to get ripped to shreds.
Or Congress needs to stay within its constitutional bounds and call on the President to do the same.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

But the laws are not valid if they're not constitutional.
