Put it in F# or Ab. Those are the best keys.

Nah... I'm only marginally good at piano. ;)
If you mean the actual piano key Ab, well, there's an Ab (G#) in Caug... ;)

I like the chord progression and all, but what's with the random unresolved secondary dominant (D major on Iran)?

I dunno... Sounds good. ;)
I know a lot of music theory, but I always trust my ear before I trust theory, and the way I play it it sounds fine - I'm looking for a sort of "lost" feel for the first part, and I'm more concerned about way the C - Caug sounds than the D.

I play both, in case it weren't obvious. Gotta love music theory.

No, I'm playing it on a piano, but you're right, guitar is my preferred instrument. I've got a Peavey JF-2 EX hollow-body, and it's a beaut. Play it through a Marshall and I can do everything from accoustic to jazz to a near AC/DC sound. ;)
I'll see if I can get a recording of me playing it, but the only thing I have to record with is an mp3 player mic, and I'm not sure if I have the USB cable I need to hook it to my computer. I'll do it tomorrow if I get the chance.
