How does a news item about food describe failings in Greenpeace? OK, I admit I haven't checked it out yet.

Now I know how to scare you, stored away for future use...fishy fishy...

Greenpeace protest genetically modified food without even understanding what it is because it's not "organic." They've indirectly killed millions of starving people in third world countries because of this because these nations, based on Greenpeace's advice, refused to take the genetically-modified wheat and corn the United States tried to give them.

I wish I could come across some "Frankenfood" protester idiots so I could ask them exactly what's bad or harmful about engineered food and watch them mumble something incoherent about mutation and DNA, proving once again that, unfortunately, most environmentalists don't know what the hell they're talking about.

Do note that I consider myself an environmentalist, by the way.

Checked it out, it proves nothing. The industry say gm food is safe, Greenpeace say it should be confirmed by an independent study. That does not in any way make Greenpeace Regarding Norman Borlaug, it is entirely dependent upon your view of the requirement for GM foods whether you think his actions necessary.
