Default Georgia Water Crises?

Do you guys think the mussels in Florida should get Georgia's water? Or do you think Georgia should get to hog it all?

I think people should have first priority over something like mussels any ol day.

Then there's the other end of the spectrum of some peoples' livlihoods at stake if they're in the seafood (in this case mussels) industry.

But...I still think that people and their water supply should come first.

should the idea of digging more wells be entertained? It seems to be the overlooked solution by so many. Sure its a crap load of money out of pocket by a homeowner by given that aquifers are much more likely to stay charged than surface water it would seem this would be an easy solution.

Well also how clean is that water? Would it be safe to drink? And my mom has a friend who's well went dry? Why is that.

the water is just as clean as water from a city water source. Prob not deep enough, the aquifers are lower than normal now so shallow wells are going dry but if you dig a 200-400 foot its quite difficult to go dry.
