If you don't know how much the Earth can absorb, or could absorb - how can you know that more is being "made"?
IF the Earth cannot absorb as much as it used to, then it enters the atmosphere istead of being safely captured in the oceans or growing forests.
There's no "from the pipe" emissions calculable from the Earth as far as i can tell. We can only base on what is out there, minus direct human contribution and say "earths contribution to the total is this much". If there is less ability to naturally capture the co2, as would make sense with deforestation and the ocean's "filling up", then it gets released where it otherwise would not.
