Default Do you care for the enviroment?

Do you really care for the environment? Do you care about helping animals, saving the rain forest? Or do you believe it's just political nonsense?

I care for the environment but I am not a nazi. I support doing the little things in your day to day life, not throwing stuff on the ground turning off your lights/computer when you are not using it, monitoring the heat in your home things like that. I help with animals too, I am an avid hunter. I help keep ecosystems in balance, I do not hunt for "Trophy's" i have a great deal of respect for all animals and treat them accordingly. Every thing I kill I eat.

I agree with Drakej, I care and hope that everyone does a little to help, but I'm not going to be an extremist about it.

It really is not that hard to be conservative. I mean dont drive around town just for ****s and giggles. Walk more if you have stores near by or something, car pool if you and some friends are going to the same place. Monitor your own living space like I said and pick up trash you may come across in your travels, around school/work things like that. If everyone did a little bit then we would be a whole lot better off.

I believe there’s a place in the middle.

There are some measures needed for a few larger cities, but I believe the problem to be in and for those cities. We’re near the end of our industrial period and the earth was designed to constantly repair and clean herself.

And yes, the rain forests thing is a complete fabrication started in the 1960s for political and empowerment purposes. The earth makes and keeps 21% oxygen, no more no less since she began to turn. It’s made by the oceans and plant life within, the trees were given us for tweaking, adjustments, temperature regulation, building and to burn for heat (And I believe for majesty and beauty.).

I recycle cans (and I even reuse some of them as plinking targets). I walk to school. I turn things off when I don't use them. I don't toss **** on the ground. If I could, I'd try to convince my parents to get solar panels on our roof. I'm not an environmental nut, but I try not to go out of my way to cause harm.

And Mr. Steve Miller dude (spacecowboy), what do you mean, the trees were given?

Also the oxygen didn't come about until the Earth was 1.5 billion years old (3 billion years ago). Sorry, that's just my nitpickiness.

Yes, I agree also, the best thing I think we can all do as individuals is pressure where we work or learn, get businesses to put in the effort.

Trees are a device Socrates (Can I call you Socrates.).
