I think it's charcoal, at least it looked like it when I saw it being administered once.

You're gonna blame the tornados in Atlanta from global warming?!!!

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Tornoadoes are frequent in the Georgie, Florida, Tennesee, Alabama areas. Because you don't usually get them in dowtown Atlanta means nothing. It was just their turn.

Seriously, push aside kneejerk reactions that blame everything in weather on global warming. Otherwise, you too become a fanatic.

And do some research into the frequency of Georgia tornadoes. You'll see they happen all the time in teh surrouding areas of Atlanta. It's not surprising a big one actually hit downtown.

Here's the first link on Google:

Oh look, Georgia is known for getting lots of tornadoes!

More at the link.
There's sufficient evidence to cause pure fanaticism and controversy, but hardly enough to make any public policy in ANY country. This is my point...all of this stuff has to be avoided. You know damn well that any policy created as a result of global warming is purely a political stunt to 1) appease a large group of sheep that believe in global warming 2) to seem like they 'care' and 3) to have more control

Do you ahve any idea how much money is made of the 'green' or 'protect the earth' ****? BILLIONS

The scientific community, which has reached consensus on this topic, eschews fanaticism, although it loves controversy. That consensus is driving public policy and public awareness has been heightened. It's true that a recent survey in the US indicated that the public may be blase about it, trusting science to find a solution, or so it's thought, but the denialist fanatics are on their heels right now.

There is no consensus my friend.

There are those that believe it based on partial evidence, and there are those that don't based on lack of evidence.

You be the judge on which is better science. As a scientist myself, it proves the need for further study, not for jumping to conclusions.

We just had the 53rd coldest November through Feb periods in history. NO GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT REAL. It is called a innerglacieral, that is a fact.

Seeing as how the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere effects the types of lifeforms that evolve and live, it effects the world a great deal. Dinosaurs evolved in a period of high amounts of O2 in the atmosphere, where as if we keep dumping CO2 into the atmosphere, most animals (including humans) will slowly die off. Also, when we begin to dump the other green house gases into the atmosphere, O3 (which forms our Ozone layer) will be converted into O2, CO, and CO2 which will dimish the Ozone's ability to protect us from the sun's radiation.

Well, if you could spell them, you might understand that the frequency and where they are occurring are indicative of changes in global climate.

Another Year Of Freakish Weather Patterns.

"Breaking news in recent years has been swamped with stories of extreme weather - flash floods in East Asia, prolonged drought in Africa, destructive hurricanes like Hurricane Katrina, heavy monsoon rainfall in South Asia, and an historic heat wave in Europe. The effects of these weather crises have been devastating and their frequency seemingly on the rise." - A NASA Feb 2007 report

As climate experts warned that higher temperatures are a taste of things to come, the new year begins ominously with wacky weather patterns occurring in major countries around the world in the first week of 2008."

I guess nothing short of an ice age, or drought in Florida will convince some that changes are not only on the way, they are already here.

Greenhouse gases don't cause O3 to be "converted" into O2, CO, and CO2. That's not even possible. Oxygen cannot magically change into carbon like that.
