actually sooner then that. the little ice age wasn't that long ago. Ever notice that the famous painting of Washington crossing the Delaware had small ice burgs in it????Know why????because they were there then, ice burgs I mean. they were in the little ice age.
Global warming excists..I just don't believe its man made. I'm against polution but not cause of global warming.

That's not the half of it. Colonel Alexander Hamilton brought cannon captured by Ethan Allen at Ticonderoga down to assist General Washington in Haarlem Heights. This, by the way, was the Maunder Minimum, when there were no sunspots at all.

The greenhouse effect may be having an impact, but it is far from the only factor, and to try to predict climate based on one factor is like trying to drive a car downhill with only two wheels and no brakes.
