Junkscience.com IS junkscience itself. It's owned by the retard in chief who was a member of the pro-smoking corporation faction that attempted to discredit real science regarding the harm of smoking, too.

He's lost all credibility after that. It's his modus operandi to be dishonest and make **************** up.

See that's the issue. Most people do not know that much about science so they say oh well, they say so so it must be true .Do you know what,, EPO,AO, AAO, MJO, la nina, el-nino, etc. is? As a lot of that does play into global climate patterns.

No i think the issue is this should not be a political one. Why is it that people try so hard to prove the antiquated minority opinion right?

Advancement has always meet with people who don't want to be told they are wrong. for so long people people think a certain way then its always the same kinds of people who fight to prove science wrong.

And the strongest voices against the "climate change alarmist" are armature weather people once they go to school and become professional climatologist its no longer the case.

I don't want to change the subject but it seems like the same old fight over and over again. when a group of people believe they have all the answers they are always angry when someone else says they may not.
And i am not making the point that they are dumb just that they seem to resist change.

Like the 4 guys who call them selfs biologist that try to prove intelligent design buy using bacterial examples that don't apply but lucky for them most people don't know enough about the science to see through the BS.

Why is it so important to people that this be proven wrong is it that (to borrow a term) Inconvenient for us to change our life style.
To end i will through out an old and overused, But still apropriate phrase " It's better to be safe then sorry"

How about you care to DEBATE The evidence, instead of calling people idiots? Can you disprove what we are saying? Mind we are weather geeks, we know our stuff.
There's no point in debating the "evidence," all the evidence is for our position. You have bull charts like the ones Matthew put up from organizations theat are funded by huge corporations which stand to gain financially from the foregone conclusions of their "research," and then you have the actual scientists who are telling the truth that you just shut out.

For one the innerglacieral before the little ice age was just as warm as today. Many parts of the world was just as warm...The hockey stick put out by Mann was shown to be bs, that tryed to disprove the midevil period warmth. But instead shown these people as liers and rats. There is a great amount of funding and money in this, so this is how they make their bread and butter. So its pretty hard for them not to be supportive of the global warming theory, when funds and grants by the millions are up for grabs.

The fact is we got through patterns. Hell we go through smaller 20-30 year patterns and 100-200 year patterns all the way up to 20-30 million year patterns. All this is shown by geological and ice core data. Also sun spots have shown to be a way to measure the output from the sun. What I'm saying is as the solar output go's down=less solar energy, that means a cooler planet. Yes some sciencist will then counter this by saying that the solar output is no longer following. Which is one of the reasons why they "think" that co2 is pushing up the temperature. But I believe that co2 has very little to do with it. For one each time through out history that the co2 go's up, data shows that it follows a warm period by 500-800 years. Yes we have added to the Atmosphere, that is no question at all. But this is like 380 parts per million. .0000038th of one "part". Really to tell you the truth, the data showing record snows through out much of the world and sun spot data showing a weaking of the solar output. It is a strong case that you could put that the earth is going into a cooler time. Yes this co2 could help hold the global temp up some. But on the other hand, if this is going into a ice age period. Why is that bad?

Really my understanding of co2 forcing and how it works is very limited. But I do have a good understanding of meteorology.

I support advancing energy resources and cleaning up our planet. In I would agree with powering our cities with the best tech there is. That is nuclear power. So please stop with flowing the idiot word out.
