Over 19,000 scientists have signed a petition saying the CO2 and global warming connection is bull***t.
“We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind. There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.” The Petition Project at http://www.oism.org/pproject/ Please call your reps and senators and tell them NO to the BS global warming theory. Which is a theory.

Global heating is a theory... problem is the empirical evidence that goes with it... those are really annoying.
I have googled about 2 dozen of those names, half of those weren't found, half of those left had studies in an unrelated department. 19,000 scientist sign for it... There definition of scientist is anyone who has at least a BS in ANY science... which is a bit large. If you calculate, world wide, the number of BS in any science, they are a minority.

How many people do you think have PhDs in the world?
I think it's not as big of a problem as some people would have us believe, but I also think that something needs to be done about pollution in general |

My favorite global warming statistic is that the number of peer-reviewed studies that say that humans have nothing to do with it is zero (0).

19,000 'scientists' my @$$
Half of them may have passed high school biology, but that in no way makes them a scientist, and the other half are probably doctors, and other NON-climate scientists. There's probably 100 climate scientists that signed that, MAX.
