Well let's start the all heated global warming debate. I personally feel global warming is not the fault of humans as more and more evidence comes out that natural cycles are playing into "global warming". How about you guys?

Hear, hear...
It's about time those hippie moonbat libtards realize that they were wrong about global cooling and the "impending ice age" in the 70s. Besides humans can't make that much of an impact when it was the Creator who created it all in the first place

Long range computer models have largely missed two consecutive hurricane season predictions. These are largely climate based models. Looking 6 months out. And we are head over heels with the computer models that are going 40 years out? Beware!

The computers aren't able to predict how the climate will be in 6 months, but they can accurately predict what kind of weather will accure with different sea and air temps, along with air preasure, they just can't predict the temps and preasures very well. But there is a differrence between predicting a storm next year, and prediciting what will happen to the climate as an average whole.

Well the models just missed this year because of a few teleconnections. I don't think the models should be bashed to hard.

Yea they should. And you can't say over 40 years the models are more accurate because for how long have we been looking at climate models going out that far? We don't know from past experience how accurate or inaccurate they might be. Its pretty much a guessing game.

Yea, but the problem with this argument is you picked a huge mega El Nino year...the next few years have not had such strong Ninos but were still very much above average and warmer than years previous to 1998.
