Look it up. Organic doesn't mean anything except "containing carbon and hydrogen." Organic doesn't mean living. If you want to say that the chemicals originated from life, say "Biological." By the chemical definition, polypropynol is organic while the water you piss is not.

So, yes, Titan's hydrocarbons are organic, but not biological.

Has the charts and study material..

I myself tend to believe something is happening no matter who or what is to blame. Change is coming to our weather patterns.

But the above NSIDC reports that most other studies are 30 years off the mark.... This is a partial of the complete report.

There is no question people -- and the output of carbon dioxide -- are contributing factors to global warming.

If nothing is done, it's a "coin flip" on how it's going to turn out, said Andrew E. Dessler, professor at the Texas A&M University College of Geosciences.

Dessler spoke to a group of 40 people at the Society of Petroleum Engineers Environmental Study Group meeting Thursday at the Advanced Technology Center. Most attending are in the environmental side of the oil and gas industry.

His presentation, titled "An Update on the Science of Climate Change: What We Know and Why You Should Believe It," went through how scientific assessments are done.

"The future is hard to predict," Dessler said. "It is certainly possible we'll see a warming" of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, which could be dangerous.

"You never really know how it's going to turn out, or if all your assumptions are right. The possible downside of being wrong is enormous. The time horizon is such that ... in 50 to 100 years, most of the population won't be alive."

The change may not be immediate, in Dessler's view, but by the time it's staring us in the face, "it will be decades too late to do anything about it."

"The time is now to start making decisions," he said, adding that he has two kids that will be his age in 2045.

"I don't want to leave them a seriously degraded Earth," Dessler said.

I was amazed when I saw that video, but it's not our panacea. By laws physics (or nature or whatever), it takes more energy to produce energy that way than is produced.

Looking back, you are correct about that particular engine, and it's a problem I knew about; the second law of thermodynamics gets in the way. However, that's just one example of an alternative.
