A Sad Excuse for a Law Professor

Hello Freedomphiles! Everyone else is talking about the new Obama clip, so I thought I'd weigh in. I wrote a Nolan Chart exclusive about it. Excerpt:

I'm sure you've all heard the clip going around of Barack Obama saying that the Warren Court was not radical enough. The right-wing pundocracy is going apoplectiv over this, screaming "Socialist!" from every rooftop, writhing in agony over "redistribution of wealth."

But it's all empty rhetoric - a last ditch effort to find Obama's achilles heel and somehow pull a McCain victory out of the fire. Conservatives already accept redistribution of wealth - I mean, how often do you see a Republican calling for the abolition of welfare? And how often do you see them vote against some corporatist giveaway?

I'd say the $700 billion dollar gift they gave the banking and financial industry indicates they aren't too concerned about "redistribution of wealth."

We're all Socialists now, apparently.

So true, while I don't care for either, welfare is a far less evil then corporate welfare.

Absolutely spot-on, RSD. Another fine example of the myriad, odd inconsistencies in the conservative philosophy.

That would be 'neo-conservative' philosophy......which is shallow at best.
