Why is that?
I found it amusing and that is showed a point, exactly the point of that type of cartoon.

Because, it's a stupid analogy. McCain doesn't need part of Obama's campaign funding in order to pay for his house, food, and medical care.

The analogy and the moron who thought it up are brain-addled. They are fallaciously equating the reasoning of spreading the wealth from those who have money to those who are living in poverty so as to mitigate unnecessary economic suffering through poverty to situations that are inapplicable and would require an entirely new ethical reasoning to defend. The reasoning isn't merely spreading the wealth for its own sake as a moral action. It can be both wrong or right, depending on a). the consequences and b). the intention. The imbeciles who made the cartoon assume all instances of wealth redistribution are ethically identical or defended on the same grounds. This is patently false and therefore the "cartoon" projects a strawman. Dishonest rhetorical chicanery.
Spreading the wealth to prevent greater material suffering is not the same ethical reasoning as taking money from group A and giving it to group B for any old reason, as the cartoon implies, when group B is fabulously wealthy and just wants to use it to create more poverty. Only a dumb, dishonest crackhead would actually try to equate the ethics of redistribution of wealth from those who have a lot to those who are in poverty to "lolz let's take your money for any old reason lolz. It's all teh samez!." Get a grip people. Grow the phuck up and try to think for a change. It's just a stupid analogy by pee-brained retards who think in black and white. Poverty in America is nothing more than being below an arbitrary line. Compared to poverty in most of the world, poverty in America is wealthy.
Oh, and Techno, are you really so damned STUPID that you think the GOVERNMENT is going to only take money from "the rich" and give it to "the poor"?

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air. "Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder. "I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up." The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves." |
