Your view of extreme left is hilarious. He has a wal-mart freemarket champion has one of his economic advisors. He voted for a bailout of wall-street with stuff-all government oversight. He's leaving thousands of troops in the greenzone. Get a grip. No Marxist could get elected as President of the USA.

It wouldn't be a bad thing to see McCain win. His (Republican) policies would further wreck America and there would be no money in the bank to start more wars. What's the private debt in the USA these days?? 30-40 trillion? The last years of the American economic miracle have ridden on the back of debt. That debt is now being called in and the commoner is being asked to foot the bill. It's like going back to the middle ages where wealthy landowners paid taxes (that were collected from the peasantry that eeked out a living on someone elses property) while keeping the bulk for themselves. Just to own the land was all the income they needed. Ahh.. the easy life.

I am constantly amazed that so many poor Americans vote for Republicans, when Republican policies are completely against their interests.

Unbelievable.Like taxing the workhorses of the economy(small businesses)is a way to help the economy.Obama's "I'm giving 98% of Americans a tax break" sounds great. One problem.I don't believe him.I believe his voting record. How stupid can someone be who would vote to give himself a tax increase?

Really? He is against a Union free Walmart.

The bailout of wall Street was Left wing socialism .. and government dictating wages is Marxism.

He will surrender which is typical of the coward Democrat party.

Obama is a Marxist and YOU have bought the pablum. Bill Ayers, Rev Wright, his father, George Soros, Mentor Frank Davis are ALL Marxists.. who else has influenced his life?

the polls have them dead even despite the polling using 65% democrats and 35% Republicans in the poll.

I would say that the polls show that it is Over.. for Obama.

"small" business tax increases? Though i believe he should plug the business tax loopholes before increasing the tax... which will still be dodged by big business anyway.

Didn't he say 95%?

Lots of people give themselves tax increases - it happens all over the world.

And so are many sensible people. He still has a right-wing economic advisor, where's McCains socialist advisor?

The bailout is not socialism - it is the American version of capitalism. Socialism benefits society by reducing massive inequity. Leaving profit for the privateers, while having the public acquire debt is not the way socialism works.

By dictating wages, i presume you mean a minimum wage? The majority of OECD nations have a minimum wage system - or extensive collective barganing (or both). They are not marxist. In fact, around 90% of the world has it. There will always be a debate about it, but a debate you haven't offered - only anti-marxist rhetoric which isn't even relevant to the issue (as the vast bulk of countries with it are not, and never were marxist).

So he'll be a failed marxist in that he will be indoctrinated into the Washington Consensus. Why are you so fearful then?

Sensible leftists always want government control. that is tyranny.

Government dictating any wages is Tyranny. So you are for tyranny?

The US is not a Majority of the OECD nations.. The US is based on INDIVIDUAL freedom.. not government tyranny. Those countries that you talk about have HIGH unemployment, HIGH taxes and LOW individual freedom.

and you admit that the Democrat party is MARXIST.. I guess you have said it all.. except one thing.. how much are YOU willing to give for your Marxism? Are you willing to fight for it ?

There are REAL Americans who die for individual freedom.. how many Marxists will do that for Marxism? Are you in this for the real money?
