Arrow Palin/Biden VP Debate Comments

Finally the debate. So far my observation is that Palin is in great form, and Biden seems to be bringing up the past a lot. I wish candidates would stick to the question instead of pointing fingers at who is to blame. Anyone else tired of blaming all the US's problems on the current administration? I am.

It's almost over. We'll see how it ends.

Anyone else tired of Palin and McCain trying to disassociate themselves with Bush's failed policies by saying we need to look to the future and accusing anyone who points out that McCain has consistently voted with Bush repeatedly of "bringing up the past" too much?

Biden tore her apart by any real standard.

Governor Palin did better then her interviews but she was still very shallow.
Not enough substance to be more then a good amateur.

Senator Biden had far more substance and showed a very good demeanor. He handled her well and focused most of his attacks on McCain which defused any bite he might have had.

I agree, Palin had no substance whatever.

I am more tired of Biden trying to associate McCain and Palin with Bush during the debate, and it backfired on him. Remember he said Bush 5 times in a row?? Borderline obsession.

lol current admin caused most the problems we have now. its horrible but true and as long as we try and ignore that (ie not blame bush) then we are forgetting the problem - like biden says w/o knowing the problem we cant find a proper solution. im happy that im not the only 1 who realizes it. btw i was not voting for obama before i saw the vp debate. biden really impressed me and i as long as he is the 1 advising obama then i will vote for him. palin sucked balls lol. "alaska, my home, kids, soccer mom, drill baby drill, alaska, oil, alaska, energy, alaska, only 5 weeks, alaska." did she say anything else? rhetorical question -- and she didnt answer any questions. mccain is old enough to die any minute. life expectancy is 70 in america he is 2 years past that and a full term would put him at 76. lol thats asking for a vp to step in. but anyways im drunk so who cares

Biden won substance. Palin took politics.

Since I am a substantive kinda guy I really think she lost points refusing to answer questions she did not like, or did not understand.

I have heard but not confirmed that among independents polled post debate It was

41% Biden
28% Palin
32% draw

Biden was hands down better, and even called bull**** on Palin twice that I saw. Joe Biden is my senator, and while I hate his domestic politics with a passion, I can't help but like a guy who tells me what he really thinks.

Joe Biden won.

Palin did fine and better than expected, but Biden did better in my opinion. Then again, I am a liberal.

As a woman I was glad to see Palin pull it off, but I was put out at times when she refused to answer questions. What did disturb me, though, was her power grab, and stating that she believes the vice president should have more power in the Senate. That's the last thing we need in my opinion, a Cheney with lipstick.

Ultimately all's status quo after last night, I think, in that Obama retains his lead. Has anyone yet seen a poll this morning re: last night?
