How the Hell can you point at the Population of Alaska (about 700,000) and say that Palin has no experience because of the population when Biden's state of Delaware is near the same level (about 850,000)?

If you want to go and say that he has been in the Senate and that is not related to population size, and so that makes him qualified, then that equally makes McCain qualified since he has been in the Senate aswell.

Palin has experience in the Executive branch (same branch as the president) while Biden, Obama, and McCain are all at the top of the Legislative branch. Both come with different valuable experience. Just like a company looking for a new president, if their choices are between the CFO (because CFO is finance rather than executive) and a senoir manager (which is high up, but not as high as a CEO or junoir VP), both choices are legit choices and companies will often go either way. Both are qualified.

So please, if you hate Palin, can you just attack her rather than the state of Alaska?

I am actually more interested in whether she has the ability to lead the country - and I have seen no sign of that. Bush was a governor too - of a very populous state. Need I say more?

You should say more. Like mentioning that Thomas Jefferson was a Governor, FDR was a governor, and Bill Clinton was a governor. Also, Andrew Jackson was a governor, Ronald Reagan was a governor, Carter, Van Buren, Polk, and many others were also governors. The fact is that we've had many governors become president in the past, some good, some bad, and some that didn't really do a whole lot. Pointing out Bush and trying to imply that any governor suddenly becomes unqualified is disengenious.

How Many United States Presidents Were Governors First?

There have also been many senators that also became president (in fact, many presidents have been both senators and governors).

This all really just semantics.

McCain is losing this election and Palin isn't helping.
It obvious to anyone that bothers to listen to her that she is not ready to be Vice President let alone President.

All the right wingers can scream and bluster all day but in the end its nothing more then
Nickelodeon Drama.

You just made his point for him

Being a governor does not mean you will be a good president.

Yes, it is about the person! That is what I said.

Governor or senator - there have been failures and successes. It's not a deciding factor to me. The fact that she seems to be a moron is a deciding factor.

I was just wondering if you'd seen The Rude Pundit's take on Thurdsay's debate. It's entitled "Joe Biden Beats Up A Woman With Glasses" and it's absolutely hysterical. As usual, there is a language alert: He ain't called 'rude' for nothing!
"Joe Biden Beats Up A Woman With Glasses"?? That sure is the ticket if you want to get that rational information processing going.

Yes things are sucky right now and all parties of our wonderful gvernment are to blame. It didn't happen overnight, nor did it all happen in the past 8 years. Decades of slow disillusion have been in the making and we are now seeing the effects of it. McCain is talking reform, and hopefully that will get the system back on track. Just because two are Republicans does not make then one in the same. I don't believe that McCain will continue the failed policies that Bush has blessed us with. Hope that answers your question.

All politicians are associated, and it's the outside associations that are the most dangerous IMHO.
