More?

Explain how this is a lie? What did Palin actually claim to have done?

WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin's visit to Iraq in 2007 consisted of a brief stop at a border crossing between Iraq and Kuwait, the vice presidential candidate's campaign said yesterday, in the second official revision of her only trip outside North America.
She and McCain have spoken about her trip to Iraq. A trip that never occurred.

What did both McCain and Palin ACTUALLY say about that trip? More feelings?

How about some facts...for a change

How so? Easy to spew the smear.. much harder to produce the facts.

Carter and Clinton were governors too. and Jesus never promoted killing of children.. so you think that YO-bama is Jesus Christ? that is another smear..

IT WAS, she said, the "trip of a lifetime". The young governor from the remote state engaged in her own brand of shuttle diplomacy in the summer of 2007, even posing, gun in hand, with some of her loyal troops in a far-off land.

But this weekend, the story of Alaska governor and Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin's trip to Ireland, Germany, Kuwait and Iraq began to shrink under scrutiny. Interrogated about hazy details of the itinerary - the first time she had travelled outside of North America - campaign officials acknowledged that Ms Palin had not entered Iraq, but had instead visited Alaska national guard troops on the Kuwait border.

Following her selection last month as John McCain's running mate, aides said Palin had traveled to Ireland, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq to meet with members of the Alaska National Guard. During that trip she was said to have visited a "military outpost" inside Iraq. The campaign has since repeated that Palin's foreign travel included an excursion into the Iraq battle zone.

But in response to queries about the details of her trip, campaign aides and National Guard officials in Alaska said by telephone yesterday that she did not venture beyond the Kuwait-Iraq border when she visited Khabari Alawazem Crossing, also known as "K-Crossing," on July 25, 2007.

Asked to clarify where she traveled in Iraq, Palin's spokeswoman, Maria Comella, confirmed that "She visited a military outpost on the other side of the Kuwait-Iraq border."

She lied about the bridge to nowhere. She lied about visiting Iraq. She lied about earmarks.

Why do the Republicans love liars?

The story never states what Palin said about it.. You call her a liar but NEVER provided what SHE said.

Again, the story provides no quote where Palin said anything about the Bridge, her trip to Kuwait or Canada or Mexico..

Yet , you are so quick to call her a liar? Again I ask. Do you know what a lie is? I think not. I think that the duty of a good, lock step leftist Democrat is to smear first and prove it later.
