Individuals staff oil companies. And the issue is supposedly excessive executive compensation.

The oil companies haven't shown any desire to achieve energy independence yet... why should they when they are raking in money hand over fist, bringing the economy to it's knees...

and spacey? What is bankrupting us now more than anything else, is bush's war in Iraq... almost a trillion dollars have been wasted there... for what? to kill a man who wasn't threatening us? that was pretty stupid if you ask me, and even if you didn't, I still think it was stupid to invade Iraq.

Must be my religious upbringing. I learned some values, like, it's not morally right to profit on the pain of others, but what would you know about that. And that is my answer. Take it or leave it.

GMTA...

what do you expect when the top two in government are ex-oil men? fairness?

What else is there? None of the other parties are large enough to win.

no the issue is excessive oil company profits... the dems aren't looking to tax the CEOs more, they're looking to tax the oil companies more. There's a difference, unless you're trying to claim that the CEOs ARE the oil companies, all by themselves... which is, of course, ludicrous...

are you an oil company exec?
