Well, since there's only one race - the human race - and having an affinity and/or preference for that race is a good thing, racism is justified.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

And why is that? It's not very likely that we're the only intelligent species in the universe....so isn't that basically being racist to them?

Since you have no proof one way or another, the hypothetical existence of hypothetical intelligent species on other planets is irrelevant to the discussion.
