So if the country was founded on racism and inequality, you'd support that we kept those qualities for all time?

That's a personal opinion, but the point still remains that nations move on from what they were founded on, they do and should.

Actually, yes you do, any governmental structure (even none) can be described as tynanny of the majority or minority, so as everything is one of those, you have to pick one of those.


I would disagree that they have been "disastrous," we are in a far better place now, than in 1790.

I'd agree. The kid was too young to decide if he wanted a beer or a whiskey but apparently old enough to decide to refuse medical treatment on religious grounds. The state legislature should bump up the age to refuse medical treatment to the age of majority.

The tyranny of the majority is from a essay by mills referring to democracy, at least that is where it became popular.
