No lets let the child decide in the 3 grade if he/she wants to finish school. Then we won't need any other farm pickers. Oh yes but first we need to halt all forms of of any help for the needy. But it would save S/S from defeat. And the lucky and wise ones who stay in school would have maybe 3 teachers per class. And we would still cut about half the teachers we now have so they could become prison guards.
So we could have some bright minds out of the many possible ones. And who would just show up in some police line up later in life. So how many new jails do we build? Guess Wal mart will lose it spot as the most with employees in the country.

Some of these people would think that's better than letting the parents decide.

On the federal level, yes.

Social Security is unconstitutional anyway. Let's scrap it.

Some of these people would love to have three teachers per class (as long as there were 20 or fewer students in the class).

Education has nothing to do with intelligence and intelligence doesn't preclude one from being a criminal - remember, the Unabomber was a college professor (and of presumably more than average intelligence).

I thought the federal government was the nation's largest employer.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

One criminal doesn't break a trend. A single individual is more likely to break laws if they are undereducated. A lower educated american would lead to more crime.

I guess you missed the scarcasim chan. If both parents work who watches the youths? If there is only one parent what would the child become?
I knowpeople on s/S who need it as it is all they got. So while your removing that and any aid to anyone in need. What is your plan for them? A cheap .22 bullet and a cheap piece of pipe and a rubber band and nail? Gosh I think the American you want is sick and about worthless as the one we have now.

No, actually I didn't. But what you intended to be sarcasm contained valid points.

That's what families and neighbors are for. If parents were carrying out their responsibility of educating their children one of the parents would be home educating the children or would have arranged for their children to receive education.

Quote:

That depends on a variety of factors. Government-run education doesn't make the child a better adult.

Quote:

It's all part of the government conspiracy to make Americans dependent on the government. There is no constitutional authority for Social Security and I don't give a rat's behind how many people "need" it. They don't have a right to it! If states want to have such programs then they have the power to create such programs but there is absolutely no federal authority for these kinds of nanny state programs.

I'm removing unconstitutional federal aid.

Quote:

That's what their families are for. That's what charities are for. The states have broad powers and can develop their own plans.

See above.

Yeah, I guess for someone who has this perverted love affair going on with the government I can see how returning the federal government to its constitutional limits might be "sick" and "worthless." NOT!

Oh, please! Don't give me that nonsense about "less education causes crime." It's as idiotic as "poverty causes crime."

The only cause of crime is personal choice.
