I believe that "everyone" potentially has that capacity.
Just like I believe that everyone has the potential capacity to "lie, commit murder, or to transcend their lots.

Everyone has the potential to be racist.
Everyone has the potential to be/do many things.
That does not matter to much.
What matters is if they actually are/do.
