Stem Cell Research
What are everyones thoughts on stem cell research? I personally feel if they do not have to hurt people to get this then it should carry on for the good of man kind.

Isn't stem cell happening because of Abortion? Don't they get it from the aborted? if so, i think abortion is murder and dont agree with it...so i wouldnt agree with stem cell either

A new study has come out about using a person's skin to get the stem cells. Two scientists (one in Japan and one in US) are working on the possibilities. The only thing is you have to inject a virus to get the cells. That can cause problems in the future. I hope they keep working on it until they find the answers.

Research is being developed and perfected where the questions of stem cell research will be a thing of the past.
I'm all for it. My mother died with Alzheimer's and her sister of Lou Gerhig's disease. Those and many other diseases such as Parkinsons will be abated or eliminated with this valuable research.

can someone give me a link that can explain stem cell research in a relatively simple way. with out to much medical gargin in it. not that you guys and girls have been useing medical gargin i just wanted to look into it and i thought maybe you guys and girls would have some idea where i can find good info.

Can't some stem cells be taken from the blood as well? I recently helped organize a blood drive, and they told me something about being able to take stem cells from the blood or something.
