well I going to put my 2 cent in here, let me say from the start any kind of abuse to a child is bad, But I believe many of these cases are blowed way out, if you spank a child on their butt with your hand some folks thinks that child abuse, it is not...

I have been the victim of sexual child abuse when I was 4 yrs old. At the time I didn't think much about it because I didn't understand what was being done. It wasn't until years later than I started to come to terms with it. I'm not going to say on here who abused me, but I will say that it wasn't my parents. Pedophiles and sexual predators in some cases seem to think that as long as the child is a willing participant that it is ok. That is perversely wrong because the child doesn't fully comprehend or understand what is being done. Some pedophiles operate under a strange view that normal society is immoral for allowing children to be raised in a sexually inhibited culture. Perhaps if the rest of society agreed with them, the acts they perform would leave no damage. Regardless, the sexual predator doesn't think or care about the fact that one day the child will grow up and retain memories of the event. And the child, in most cases, will bear these emotional and mental scars the rest of their lives.

I wonder if they take into account the court-sponsored child abuse of awarding custody of kids to homosexual 'couples'? I wonder how that will play out in the counseling and mental-health wards around the nation? Poor kids.
