Wow, what a waste of tax money. This multi-billion-dollar telescope was paid for by US taxpayers yet is owned and operated by a company in Mexico. I don't understand why heads don't roll after something like this takes place.

Good catch on this article. It is rare to find someone else that is outraged with pork and government waste. Citizens Against Government Waste is also a good website for this type of investigative reporting.

Yes, this is outrageous. Even that indoor rainforest pork project in Michigan was at least on US soil.
