Default Rating Obama

Today, 11/7/08, Obama took the offensive against the flawed economy.

This is a good move. Unlike Clinton and most other presidents who took their sweet time assembling their executive crew, Obama is moving at full speed ahead. He's already formed an economic advisory board.

Will they be able to do anything positive? I don't even know if that's possible. But at least he's made the right move!

{The down side of such aggressive moves is the republicans attacking back.}

Oh yes, one other thing, not only do we have executive problems, policy, but the Bush administration has corrupted the civil service. A change of policy won't mean anything as long as the bureaucrats have been hand picked by Bush and his crew. I don't see how Obama can change this until 1/20/09 when he takes office. However, there can be signs that he's ready to do so.

Let's see...

Anyone saying something positive about Bush is a jerk but anyone not saying anything positive about Obama is also a jerk.

Logical.. to a left wing zealot.

You know.. even though Obama was elected, some still wear that tin foil hat.

President-elect Barack Obama ain't no coward. And, unlike our lame duck administration, he's not only smart but he's intuitive...so I, for one, am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until after his inauguration. Speculation NOW is less than pointless.

Further, I don't think he's too worried about attacks from the rabid radical right. Those poison-pushers are going are going to make trouble no matter WHAT happens; there's no pleasing them...

The same was said about Bush and look how that turned out.

You do realize that was the single greatest defense used for Bush over the last eight years. Well now we are neck deep in two wars and our economy is collapsing. Wouldn't it of served our interests to speculate a little earlier with Bush?

Really? Did what happen to Carter or Clinton do that?

It's not a matter of pleasing them. They want power back and one of the ways they intend to get it is seditious attack, attack, attack. All the republicans have to do is sway a little over 4 million people that Obama and the democrats are the wrong guys and they win big time in 2010. I can smell blood in the waters....

Decisions Decisions
The Raw Story | Obama not to attend G20 summit

WASHINGTON (AFP) — US President-elect Barack Obama will not be attending a summit of world leaders for economic crisis talks in Washington next week, his spokeswoman said Friday.
While it is true that there is only one president at a time, the one we got now sucks. I disagree with this move only in that Obama should have at least made his presence known. Just the idea that he's keeping watch on things might help to keep Bush from screwing up in his usual fashion.
Former Defense Official: Obama Keeping Gates The "Dumbest Thing I've Ever Heard"

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is often mentioned as a potential Bush 43 holdover in the new Obama administration. According to most reports, Gates is not only popular among the service branches, but also with Democrats, who have appreciated the secretary's moderate instincts during his time at the helm following Donald Rumsfeld.
The problem? Gates "team" is packed full of neoconservatives that are pro-Iraqi war. Can Obama keep Gates but get rid of his team?

All in all this is a mine field. There may be no right decisions. On the other hand, leaving Bush alone with his magic 8 ball to make decisions is always a bad idea.

Don't worry, Obama will find someone who will destroy the military.

That is only fitting and proper.... How about your fellow tin foil hat wearer, Dennis Kucinich? he destroyed Cleveland and will destroy the military too.

This next 4 years ought to be fun watching the Leftists change the US into the ideal marxian society.

Remember two things, the first is it ain't Obamam's fault but now it is his responsibility.

The second is that the republicans will spend the next four years trying to make it sound like Obama's fault.

Responsibility and fault go together. Whatever he does, he is responsible and at fault for it.

that does not even account for the fact that He is the Wrong person for the job.. the leftists who supported the moron will pay for that...

Well putt, Aff. There was a letter to the local paper saying that the writer hoped we would enjoy the Obama depression. That's really rather disingeuous since Obama isn't in office, or able to avoid the Bush crap-tsunami.
