Many 'minority' voters.....

Turnout goes heavy during parent pick up times.

My impression.....
About 1/4-1/3 of all voters were very young (18-21).
I have never seen anything like it.

In a heavily republican district, I am going to go out on a limb and state that the precinct will go democrat.

When the polls close and the returns hit....I'll post the results of the two precincts I worked. We'll see if my predictions were right.

Although it is a result of dubya's disastrous reign, it is a positive development to see more people take an interest in our government and get out there and vote.

I left the printout at home.
However, McCain won the precinct by only 20 votes.
Considering that this precinct is a R stronghold....I still consider that impressive.

I am not surprised that McCain won (stole) Texas.
I am surprised that the republican base is in such disarray.
Hopefully, the neoconservatives will now be purged from the GOP.
