Well then you are a little out of touch man. All of those foods are stereotypically black foods.

That pic covered all and only the stereotypically black foods. Had one Item been changed you may have a point but I cannot think of one they missed or one that is questionable.

Even The GOP leadership is calling this racism.

It's not racist at all. Why can't blacks enjoy the same delicious fried poultry, powdered drinks, and juicey fruits as everybody else?

Default No, it was not racism.

"They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?" -Barack Obama

You think that his comments were not racist?? Think again. Obama is a master at pulling out the race card to garner support from his people. It is right out of the S. Alinsky play book.

As far as the issue here...yes, it was a parody. Don't forget that at first Obama made excuses and lied about comments that referred to US money and his race. His own people admitted it.
Quote:
Obama Aide Concedes 'Dollar Bill' Remark Referred to His Race
Sen. Barack Obama's chief strategist conceded that the Democratic presidential candidate was referring to his race when he said Republicans were trying to scare voters by suggesting Obama "doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills."

Playing the Race Card
Obama's camp initially denied the remark was a reference to Obama's race.

"He was referring to the fact that he didn't come into the race with the history of others," Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said Thursday. "It is not about race."
And here is the usual Obama "play the race card" flip-flop:
Quote:
But Obama's chief strategist, David Axelrod, acknowledged on "Good Morning America" Friday that the candidate was referring, at least in part, to his ethnic background.

When pressed to explain the comment, Axelrod told "GMA" it meant, "He's not from central casting when it comes to candidates for president of the United States. He's new to Washington. Yes, he's African-American."

ABC News: Obama Aide Concedes 'Dollar Bill' Remark Referred to His Race
Maybe this would have been a better image to circulate in response to the comments that Barack Obama said a few months ago. After all, it was Obama that initially denied it had anything tho do with his race, a statement that Obama's camp later corrected.

Shame on you, Mr. Obama. And shame on those that support your game.

That isn't racism that is pointing out racism.
They have in fact spent huge amounts of money trying to make people scared of him. And his name has come up allot.

Pointing out what he believes is racism is not racist on his part. Would have been racist if he had said More people would vote for me if all whites were not racist.

Had you listen to the whole quote you would have heard him say that those attempts were not going to work because Americans Are not stupid or racist.

A reference to his own race is not racist either

What allot of distraction here. A lot of derailing. That Food stamp comic was racist 99% of people who have seen it say that it is. And your failure to even mention the OP says you know it as well.

Show me where 99% of the people thought it was racist. I guess I must be the 1 % that thought it wasn't.

Oregon,

You're young, so that's likely the reason you've not seen all these images used in a racist way. There's a lot of history captured in that "food stamp."

The only one that's news to me, by the way, is the Kool-Aid. What have I missed?

Like Cindy said all of those foods have traditionally been racist stereotypes for decades (except for the Kool-aid, which is a new one for me, too). That graphic is very racist. That Republican Women's group should be ashamed of themselves but racists never are.

I find it ironic that the republican women would use kool-aid....as they are the ones who drank the punch.
