You also have to remember that you need to pay higher taxes if you love your country. Both Palin and Biden suck big time.

he said paying taxes. Not paying higher taxes.

When I was growing up I remember people calling taxes a patriotic duty quite often.

Was someone at the convention originally but she has repeated and defended the comment.
She very recently tried to explain to Katie Curic the rational behind the comment.

When your state is bounded on one side by a foreign country with which you have dealings, and is within visual range of another foreign country, there may very well be issues that such governors deal with that governors of states like Missouri don't.

However, governors don't generally have foreign policy experience and that's fine. No one seemed to mind that Slick Willie Clinton or George W. Bush didn't have foreign policy experience - and they were both elected President. And no one ever bothered to ask Al Gore to name some of Slick Willie's regulatory experience.

Of course, if you people are actually stupid enough to vote for either the Democrats or the Republicans then don't come whining to me when this country gets screwed up even more than it is already.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."
