Neither the Republicans or Democrats met the requirements to be 'entitled' for a place on the ballot in Texas. However, in a state controlled by Republicans, and their unwillingness to uphold the law coupled with the fact that they have to have Texas' 34 electoral votes to have a chance in he!! to make it a close race, they ignored the law and stole the electoral votes from one of four potential and rightful winners. (Barr, Baldwin, McKinney or Nader)

As such, the government in the state of Texas is now a criminal organization (still largely controlled by DeLay) and I owe NO allegiance to said organization. They have NO moral authority to enforce the law and are incapable of abiding by said law.

What I don't understand is why the Dems have not jumped on the lawsuite to push it to the federal level. The LP lacks the funds to do so. However the Dems could attempt to deny McCain those 34 electoral votes should they choose to insist on the law being upheld. If they won at the SCOTUS, this election would be over.

There are many issues from dibolt irregularities, to ballot accesses. There is allot wrong with our elections.

Yes, I agree with you in those regards. When Diuretic said our electoral system I took that as meaning the way we elect the President, as in the Electoral College. I don't feel that the E.C. is corrupt.

Now if you start drilling down into ballot access laws and local regulations, etc, then you'll get no argument from me.
