Had this been a republican controlled congress they would have lined up waiving their rubber stamps and asking where they should sign. So while the democrats are stonewalled by the filibustering republicans in the Senate and the litany of veto threats from Bush, finally they make a difference...no more is Bush getting away with his crap. |

i am not a democrat, although in this instance i agree with you completely. no blank check, no bailout and no golden parachuts for all these execs who caused this problem with their greed and bad business sense in the first place
i do not have any stock so while the markets tanking is concerning, what is more concerning is the price of gas (when you can find it here) and food price increases. they are really putting a bite in lots of peoples budgets bush is a moron who has ruined our economy, standing in the world and what used to be at least a decent reputation |
