Principles of the American Conservative Party | The American Conservative Party
“We reject the practice of using Government powers for any purpose of social engineering, and we uphold the principle that the individual is sovereign; where social conduct involves personal choices, the People are best served when those choices are embraced and defended at the family and community level. “ I figured libertarian licentiousness had to be lurking in this party somewhere. I gather that if an individual wishes to kill the unborn or sleep around or commit adultery or get high on crack, this party is all for it since it apparently doesn’t want the government to say otherwise. |

What did Jefferson state in the DoE? Why do you wish to meddle in people's personal affairs? By what authority has this ability been given to the government? What part of being libertarian is unrestrained either morally or lawfully?

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air. "Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder. "I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up." The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves." |

I guess it is. I am a democrat but very protective of the LP. As they understand what I believe to be a important value of the US.
Just because I do not like something, that does not mean i think it should be illegal.

They are individual choices that affect society as a whole and government has every right and duty to regulate them and this is traditionally what government has done in Western Judeo-Christian societies. This so-called conservative party wishes to defy tradition, thus it cannot be a conservative party.

Yes. Many, if not all U.S. states used to have laws against adultery and some may still have such laws on the books even if they are not enforced. Laws against adultery have been part and parcel of Western Judeo-Christian societies for over 3,000 years.
