Most of our founding fathers were deists. They probably attended a church at one point or another, but came around to the works of the enlighenment and Deism (two separate thoughts)

So yes I would say that our country is NOT founded on Judeo-christian beliefs.

Even though many / most were diests, they still attended church. I just got finished reading a book about Ben Franklin. He discusses going to church as a 'social affair.' I can understand this position.

Regardless of all that, the principles on which this grand republic was founded were decidedly secular.

Agreed....I was just pointing out to a fact. In Franklin's case, I think it was to pick up widows.
