RADIO ROW
Conservative talker Steve Gill, who frequently appears as a commentator on Fox News, CNN and other outlets, recently drew political bloggers' attention with an article he penned about Air America's sinking ship. The widely circulated piece--originally published by Pajamas Media--explains the liberal talk-radio network's "rock-bottom ratings offer a valuable lesson: attempting to fill the left's void of ideas with F-words and ad hominem attacks will not fool the listeners for long." Can you say "Randi Rhodes"? [See May's "Radio Row."] When Gill refers to "rock-bottom ratings," he's not kidding. Consider Air America's ranking in its dream city of San Francisco: 28th place in the latest ratings period! A penchant for the profane isn't liberal talk's only stumbling block. As Gill explains, "Liberal theology, as expressed by left-wing talk hosts, has no apparent ideological consistency. Groups that are linked only by their hatred of President Bush don't really share a commanality of thought or policy goals. That is the real problem for liberals/Democrats." Townhall Magazine, July 2008, Jay Swartzendruber..pg. 64 *** Is it any wonder that Rush Limbaugh (The doctor of Democracy) shatters all records for talk show listeners since he brings the Conservative based truth to the airwaves on a consistent basis? Again, one has to feel bad for these clueless liberals. |

![]() I would also ad Liberals don't like to listen to other peoples opinions all day. They like to develop there own. I know that is why I never listen to air America. I do sometimes listen to Rush, Mike savage, Mark lavine, and Hanity. Because they make me, and most intelligent people laugh. Then we get to laugh again when we here someone posts there "original" opinion here that sounds exactly like Rush or Hanity.

![]() Hardly. Both the far right and the far left get their marching orders from their generals. There is little independent thought among either group. |
