I haven't made up an answer. I have asked a simple question that nobody has been to answer, until Michael's last response.

Can't you anti-Obama folks think up threads that actually discuss the issues and policies he stands for?
So his own words don't qualify as something he stands for? Does that mean he lies?

Quote:
isn't it because the things he stands far are what's good for our country and you just can't stand to see a really great Democrat take over after a really horrible Republican has made such a mess of things?
The things Obama stands for are not good for the country or the world. He's a Marxist. He stands for oppressing people's economic and personal freedom and stealing people's liberty by addicting them to a gargantuan government nanny state.

Which do find yourself being more loyal to these days, your party or your country?
Quite clearly my country, which is why I am not voting for either the Democrat or the Republican, unlike most of you who will be going to the voting booths like a herd of lambs to the slaughter at the hands of your shepherd. I have no registered party affiliation.

Obama is not a marxist and you are obviously a GOP mouthpiece with your rhetoric that mimics theirs.

Obama is very much a Marxist and you're supporting it. He hung out with Marxist groups in college. He talks about it in his book. He has been endorsed by Socialist groups in the past. His redistributionist thievery is all rooted in Marxist concepts. He's a pitiful disgrace.

How is it obvious? I already told you I'm not voting for Obama or McCain and in the U.S. Senate race here in South Carolina, by the way, I'm supporting the Democrat who is running against Lindsey Graham and I also donated to his campaign.

The problem with you is that your brain isn't capable of thinking in more than two dimensions when it comes to politics. Clearly, if someone is criticizing one party they must be a member of the other, right? There are more Americans who don't identify with either major party than those who do and the ones that march step to the orders of their Democrat or Republican leader are the useful idiots who they are counting on to keep them in power so they can continue to squander away the very freedom and liberty the Founders of this county went to war and risked their lives to give us.

SamintheSouth:

You are doing the typical Republican smear tactic, guilt by association. The Black guys that were easy to condemn for demanding monetary reparations from America in response to slavery and lynchings. So lets associate that extremism with Obama. He's - well - kind of a Black guy, so somehow they must be the same.

It is the tactic that the article about Limbaugh, Hannity addressed directly. One liberal says or does this, so the response is a blanket condemnation of all liberals - and that is from a hardcore right wing perspective, anyone to the left of Attilla the Hun.

Marxist is a very specific political philosophy. Too many people on the right wing here are using this freely as a substitute for "commie" - and that goes all the way back to that sicko slob Joe McCarthy in the early 1950's that had witch hunts for commies.

Sloppy use of terminology. Any of our European participants here can reinforce what I am saying.

And where is the big difference between the "socialism for the poor, elderly and disabled" and the socialism for billionaire corporate sponsors of the Republican Party? The core issue is taxpayer money going to someone who benefits from it, so it is wrong to have subsidized childcare programs for the working poor trying to keep their families together while parents are working two or three or four jobs and single parents work two or three jobs and ExxonMobile after making record breaking profits getting corporate welfare from the Republicans they have bought and paid for?

Oh yes, typically a Republican smear because they are ones that came up with John McSame and ran campaigns in 2006 tying Democrats to George Bush so that they'd win, right?

There you go with your race obsession again. Why do you feel so much guilt for being born a white guy?

One that Obama espouses quite well.

You mean the 75% of Wall Street donors who have contributed to Democrats this campaign season? Folks like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, and George Soros? Are those the billionaire corporate sponsors you're referring to? I don't want facts to spoil your day.

Stealing money from hard working Americans and handing it out in the form of welfare be it to a fat lazy slob sitting on their *** or to a multi-billion dollar corporation is immoral and wrong and I have news for you. Both parties do it and if you actually spent some time researching these things instead of assuming you know things that you don't you would know that as well. Would you like me to give you a long list of all the corporate welfare that got handed out by the Democratic Governor and State Legislature down here in North Carolina over the past decade? It's sickening.

No, he's talking about deeds as opposed to words; not deeds as opposed to money.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

To twist this into Obama supports reparations is dishonest. But that's the GOP's MO, so what do we expect?
"Fair" is liberalspeak for "equal outcomes."

Maybe someday people like you will grow up and find out what we adults have learned a long time ago: LIFE IS NOT FAIR!

Typical right wing nasty insults. Can't you Obama haters debate without the insults? Is the Karl Rove agenda so strongly ingrained into the GOP mind?

Lets not let this thread drift off topic and become writtled with insults.
