Imagine what private citizens could do with all the money the guv'mint spends that is wasted. Too bad the Feds have gone so far past their original Constitutional mandate.

50 years ago we were the most prosperous nation in the world and had the largest middle class (because of FDR and World War 2).
100 years ago, we had masses of working poor kept down by a few rich people (we're back to that again now).

It's the steady movement to the right that we've had since the '60s that has created the terrible conditions we have today.
