And the 550 Tonnes of Yellow Cake removed from Iraq shows the UN inspectors were sorely wrong.

The surge worked to some extend but the peace we are currently seeing is the result of a cease fire treaty between the Al Malaki militias and government and Al Sadr's militias. The Sunnis have also turned against Al Qaeda and ended their boycott .

As I have said before many times is everyone that is saying the Surge worked and we are winning cannot answer the question about when we are withdrawing our troops and coming home. THAT is winning.

And Bush is trying to negotiate to have PERMANENT US military bases in Iraq. That is definitely not winning, it is the neo cons once again trying to weasel their agenda into place.

No... the troops come home AFTER we have won.

Bringing the troops home before we win, is losing.. cutting and running.. e.g., what the Democrat party and NObama wants.

Since the republicans are building permanent bases in Iraq, we know that is a lie...unless, of course, the republicans never intend to win.

You mean that the troops are going to remain in Bosnia too? How about Japan, Germany, N. Korea?

Do you really believe that Democrats are going to bring them all home?

I have this bridge in NY City.. ripe for collecting tolls.. ..

There's no war in Bosnia.

When there was a war in Bosnia, not one US troop was killed in battle.

Y'know, now I'm on the fence again...

Politically, I am obviously closER to Obama, but, damn, McCain would be vastly more entertaining. The mannerisms, the temper, the befuddlement, the jowliness...you have to think SNL parody potential, here.

Haven't you had enough of that sort of entertainment over the last 8 years?

I for one, am not amused.
