Don't be silly. I explained the definition of “normal”, then defined the word “abnormal” as “an antonym of normal”. You and Zep are being trivial and argumentative in order to sidetrack the discussion.
The discussion? I don't even see what your point is with all this "normal" and "abnormal" crap, anyway. Are you trying to say that gay people are "abnormal?"

So?

In any case, you cannot define a word with that word.

That's pretty simple stuff.

1. Yes, statistically homosexuality is abnormal.

Merriam-Webster slipped up.

So, you are saying homosexuals are abnormal. Do you think this is a bad thing?

I did - I have over 30 children's books published. I found I hated book signings but enjoyed working with kids. Now I teach.

1. Are you really going to make me cite another dictionary or will you just avoid further embarrassment and bow down and admit defeat right here and now?

2. Post 11.

<sigh>
I wouldn't call it tolerance and civility. I would, however, call mandated prayer in public schools unconstitutional.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."
