This abstinence stuff has been covered in other threads, but I just want to mention that to have an abstinence policy as our only line of defense against unwanted preganacies is hopelessly naive. Talk about faith-based! "Oh, please God, don't let me be pregnant"? Smart public policy, there.

Too many friggin' people here, as it is. We need far more, not less, ways to prevent births. Quality over quantity.

Congratulations Bush, your handling of the economy couldn't possibly be worse and this proves it...anyone who doubts that Bush hasn't failed and failed miserably has to have their head shoved so far up their patoot they can see their own tonsils.

Listen up Affro, don't be so sad about the porn business--latest word is that America's 2nd longest running occupation (prostitution) is still doing a booming business; more so out in liberally occupied Hollywood than anywhere else.

It's funny, when Reagan was president he hailed the explosive growth in the S&L industry as proof his economic policies were working. Bush not only hailed Enron as proof he knew what he was talking about but the amazing growth in the subprime markets as well. And just like Reagan, Bush believes that as long as he doesn't admit he was a failure, well then he isn't.

So Bush has gone through a number of lame excuses. My favorite is when Bush says "Who could have guessed." This new one, about Wall Street being drunk, is perhaps his most lameass one to date. But it's just another excuse for his failures.

Meanwhile Bush can deny we're in a recession all he wants, when the porno industry suffers there is no doubt that we are...
