Trash Soils Bush Pledge To Save Most Environmentally Protected Area Of Ocean In The World

WASHINGTON — Two years ago with fanfare, President Bush declared a remote chain of Hawaiian islands the biggest, most environmentally protected area of ocean in the world.

It hasn't worked out that way.

Cleanup efforts have slowed, garbage is still piling up and Bush has cut his budget request by 80 percent.
And another Bush failure. You can't spit without hitting one of his failures...

YESS!! Another government failure.. and the Leftists continue to want government to have more and more power and responsibilities despite failure with everything it does..

Government is incompetent.

it wasn't the dems that tapped our phones or suspended habeas corpus.
newsflash the government has practically all power, and routinely ignores the rule of law....not the dems doing. nobody checked this president, the vice president, the dept of justice (monica goodling and alberto gonzales comes to mind), uh, that would be your fascist republicans doing all that.

Public education has failed the poor and is a bastion of brainwashing for others.. There are people here who have no idea what the Constitution is all about and what their individual Freedom means ..

The biggest joke I've ever heard is when a republican says that government doesn't work. And every time the republicans get into power, they prove it.

Whenever a problem occurs that is too large or too complicated for individuals to handle that is when the government, the unity of all individuals, should step in.
