Truth for a Change:
"Increasing the tyranny is Liberalism... He is a liberal Republican like his father, like Bob Dole, like Nixon ... " You are living inside of your own bubble where you can reinvent terms like liberalism to mean everything you dislike, then it can become like a bumpersticker that you can paste on anything you want. The problem with that is outside your little bubble, the rest of the world regaurds Bush as either conservative Republican (as he claims to be) or neo conservative (American Empire agenda). You like to think of yourself as a conservative and dislike the thought of sharing that label with Bush. You are in denial that conservatism is indeed an umbrella for both good and bad. And what Republican "traditional" conservatives need to do is purge their party of neo conservatives who have taken over under Bush. I would like to see a major shift away from the American Empire agenda back to disciplined spending, small government, protecting the constitution and securing our borders. Bush has failed in all four of those areas. Right now, I don't really see anyone thinking beyond Bush's last day in office. I think it is very possible Democrats will win big in 2008 and Republicans will be agonizing over what they did wrong despite the fact it is blatantly obvious. They learned nothing from the 2006 election that turned majority control of Congress to Democrats. 2008 will be no different.
