So where is the lie? Words mean things.. to be a lie it must have some relevance to the definition of the word.

So what did Bush know and when did he know it?

If you cannot answer those questions, he did not lie.. no matter how much you and your comrades want to smear him. and if you cannot answer that, it is NOT Bush doing the lying.

These people can't comprehend the notion that in order for someone to have lied the person must have said something he knew was not true. They think that just saying it makes it so.. it is just a smear..

They want to insult so they do it regardless if it means anything or not.


However, they are only demonstrating that THEY are the liars..

The word you're looking for is intent, that the person intended to mislead. This includes telling half truths or something the person knows to be true but misleasing...so you're wrong in your definition...but then again you're a conservative so we expect you to be wrong.
