So where is the lie? Words mean things.. to be a lie it must have some relevance to the definition of the word. So what did Bush know and when did he know it? If you cannot answer those questions, he did not lie.. no matter how much you and your comrades want to smear him. and if you cannot answer that, it is NOT Bush doing the lying. |

These people can't comprehend the notion that in order for someone to have lied the person must have said something he knew was not true. It's like the idiots (mostly liberal) who think that to criticize any of the politically correct groups is automatically hate speech or that to call anything a liberal says a disparaging name is to insult the liberal himself - as if to say that their words are their identity. (Yet these idiots are free to insult libertarians, conservatives, religious people, and other politically incorrect groups - and I mean insult the people, not merely saying disparaging words about their views).

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air. "Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder. "I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up." The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves." |

They want to insult so they do it regardless if it means anything or not. However, they are only demonstrating that THEY are the liars.. |

The word you're looking for is intent, that the person intended to mislead. This includes telling half truths or something the person knows to be true but misleasing...so you're wrong in your definition...but then again you're a conservative so we expect you to be wrong.
