"Shared sacrifice" is Marxist propaganda. Your so-called "shared sacrifice" can not coexist with liberty. Go peddle your Communist crap to the Chinese.

Those of you that keep putting your head in the sand regarding the words coming out of Michelle's mouth are going to have a rude awakening. When she makes controversial remarks it reflects badly on him whether it should or not.

I don't see how that response is relevant to what was said. Shared sacrifice? Excuse me for noticing but both Bush and Cheney missed the Vietnam War. No one in either extended family has ever been on active duty in Iraq. They are both millionaires. Then you go to the Bush billionaires and see the same thing. So guess how I feel each and every time Bush tells the country to "stay the sacrifice"? What is he or his billionaire corporate friends sacrificing themselves? Those military industrial complex corporations are raking in PROFITS hand over fist from the Iraq quagmire.

I think this is a core question and gut check everyone that is voting needs to go through.

I'll take that into consideration when deciding whether to vote for her for president.

I just love how dimbulbs like Beck throw out the Marxist Boogyman all the time and rightwingers gobble it up because they have forgotten the basic premises in play here in the USA.

Michelle Obama is talking about shared sacrifice, something that his ilk knows nothing about. They have been running from that concept for decades. They want it all and if you do not get yours, too frikken bad. If you don't get hired because the company won't hire blacks, too bad. Shared sacrifice for the betterment of this country is not possible when mouthpieces like Beck, Limbaugh, et al, do nothing but sit on their kiesters, collect their millions and tell the rest of us to fight against anyone telling you that sharing is good when we (Beck and his crowd) all know it's bad.

Is this is the kind of "issues" the right is going to run on? Good luck with that.

Beck, Limbaugh, and for that matter, Bush and Cheney and the rest of the privileged class, want the full burden for "sacrifice" to rest squarely in the hands of the middle and lower classes, while the rich and powerful reap the rewards of the efforts of the less fortunate ahd less privileged.

The Iraq War like the Vietnam War is entirely dependent on kids from ghettos, barrios, reservations and rural America. It makes no difference if there is a draft. George W Bush and Dick Cheney are a perfect example of why rich white boys not showing up on the front line. Cheney has made $8 million off of a retainer stipend and Halliburton stocks from the Iraq War.

And it is my current understanding that none of the Fox News pro war commentators have ever served in the military or have family that are or have been on active duty. Ditto that for Rove, Limbaugh and Coulter.

So what's wrong with that picture? The people preaching at the rest of America to stay the sacrifice are not sacrificing anything at all if not making money off of the Iraq quagmire.

To get real, it isn't stay the course or stay the sacrifice, it is stay the profits for the privileged war advocates.
