It's too bad more states and people haven't gotten to that in the Constitution yet.

And parts of Oklahoma are very nice, like the area around Norman where my family lives, all college graduates and not simple people by any means.

Why this will accomplish nothing. I though you were a Ron Paul fan. That is similar to the government recognizing cheese as a dairy product. well duh.

It isn't even a law just a group recognition of what is already true. And a total waste of time.

now If you want to discuss states rights and how much we have taken from them lets go back in time. to when this country had 5 depressions, states were well known for violating the constitution. and we were forced in to a bloody Civil war to keep this country together.

I disagree about it being a waste of time. I see it as drawing a line in the sand against an out-of-control federal government, and this gives me hope. Although he is out of the running for president, Ron Paul's message about freedom and the Constitution has been heard and will hopefully spread far and wide.

It will be interesting to see if OK subsequently defies any unconstitutional federal edicts that it encounters.
