Not only that, the average person is not qualified to make educated opinions on a persons medical records. Everyone knows he is 71 years old. Everyone knows he has had a history with skin cancer, which is under control.And everyone knows that his asss was beat up pretty good when he was a POW. No need to disrespect him there, as some do. Is he fit to serve?? I think he is. Am I gonna vote for him?? Probably not. I have not decided on anyone yet. There are always write in candidates...they are a viable option.

To assume that he is hiding something just because he didn't give the media X amount of time to review his records is unfair. He could have given a simple doctors note, but that would not have been good enough for the dems that want to tear him apart. It's an election year, and anything goes. Similar to how comments are posted in this forum. McCain didn't need to release anything at the time, but he did. He is OK in my book for that gesture.

The media feeding frenzy has ALWAYS been in high gear. With me it's all about the persons character, which seems to be a taboo subject to many. I call it blind loyalty, but that's just my opinion. I'll continue what I do and everyone else will do what they do. That's the beauty of America.

Sen Kennedy is not running for POTUS he is one of 100 senators. and is already in office .

I agree I said that wrong. The amount of information in the records would take a lot more then 3 hours to cover. there should have not been a limit if he really wanted to remove all doubts about his health.

No if ted Kennedy were running for potus i would say he should not be voted for in his condition. there is a distinction.

And as i have said a Few times I think McCain is fine to run, and his health should not be a reason to avoid voting for him.

I was merely remarking on the Oddity of him limiting access to his medical records when others bring up concerns.

If Kennedy where your average Sen. then I could see your point, but so many people look towards him for direction and leadership that he is a position of power. Not as much as the Pres. but a position of power non the less. Here is an article outlining Obama's medical check up:

Well there is a lot less history to cover with Obama. and he doesn't have people breathing down his back to prove he is healthy.

I really see McCains Med Records as a non Issue. But it was a Political mistake Release them as he did.

I agree that it is more or less a non issue, people that want to know every detail of someones medical history is just wrong. HIPAA exists for a reason, the only reason I am talking about this issue is because some members on this board as well as people all across America think that McCains medical history is a tool to judge him with. Obama's family has a history of cancer but not to many people bring that up. I think it is stupid to be hyper critical of one candidate and not the other. I do not feel that you are being critical of McCain malrenalds outside of the time frame that people where allowed to look at his records.
